Once daily after cleansing, in the morning or evening, apply 1/3 of a dropper of Cell Cycle Catalyst™ with hands to a dry face.

Gently smooth the serum onto dry skin. If using in the morning, apply before a SkinCeuticals vitamin C antioxidant serum and a broad-spectrum sunscreen to protect the skin from UVA/UVB radiation.

A: Catalyst is a very lightweight, liquid consistency. It is recommended that you apply 1/3 dropper to the palm of your hand and apply using your fingers.

Q: What is the level of tolerability on all skin types?

A: Catalyst is an extremely gentle formula and a great option for those who cannot tolerate retinols, retinoids, glycolic acid, etc. You may experience a slight adjustment period, which is completely normal when using an acid-based product.

Q: What is Taurine? Is it a plant-based ingredient?

A: Taurine is a natural amino acid found in skin. With age and external factors, it decreases over time. Cell Cycle Catalyst’s formulation contains a synthetic derivative to help boost cellular vitality, stimulate skin barrier renewal, and maintain skin’s optimal hydration levels.

Q: Can I use Cell Cycle Catalyst with retinol?

A: Cell Cycle Catalyst was tested for tolerance and efficacy in a clinical study where users applied Catalyst on top of their generic anti-aging routines including retinol products. Good tolerance was observed. Cell Cycle Catalyst is also a great option for those who cannot tolerate a retinol or retinoid.

A: While Cell Cycle Catalyst was tested with generic anti-aging routines with no restrictions set in place, there is no specific safety test on these pairings. Please contact your physician or aesthetician for their recommendation.

Q: Do I need to wear sunscreen while using Cell Cycle Catalyst?

A: We always recommend the use of sunscreens as the last step of your morning routine to protect from damaging UVA/UVB rays. You may experience some increased skin sensitivity due to the acids within the formulation.
