Once daily after cleansing, in the morning or evening, apply 1/3 of a dropper of Cell Cycle Catalyst™ with hands to a dry face.

Gently smooth the serum onto dry skin. If using in the morning, apply before a SkinCeuticals vitamin C antioxidant serum and a broad-spectrum sunscreen to protect the skin from UVA/UVB radiation.

A: Catalyst is a very lightweight, liquid consistency. It is recommended that you apply 1/3 dropper to the palm of your hand and apply using your fingers.

Q: What is the level of tolerability on all skin types?

A: Catalyst is an extremely gentle formula and a great option for those who cannot tolerate retinols, retinoids, glycolic acid, etc. You may experience a slight adjustment period, which is completely normal when using an acid-based product.

The Cell Cycle Catalyst treatment had great results on my skin.

Very Effective!

I was surprised when I first opened this item. It is called a serum but there is almost no viscosity to it. It looks like clear water, it is so thin. It is also packaged in Skinceuticals amber glass bottle with a dropper to prevent UV degradation, which I love. I use it over freshly washed skin. The very first time I used it, I felt as if my skin showed less redness, which is an issue I face. The primary ingredients are alpha hydroxy and beta hydroxy acids so I do have to research what other products this can layer with. As marketed, it says the product will gently peel and enhance cellular turnover. To be clear, there is no visible peeling. I'm really kind of impressed because I thought my overall skin tone was noticeably improved after just a few uses.

Love this product despite some drawbacks

The Cell Cycle Catalyst treatment had great results on my skin. The mornings after using this product (used before bedtime), my skin looked smooth, glowy, and radiant. However, this is a very thin formulation with very little glide, which didn't make it very enjoyable to use. The results were so lovely, however, I forgave the application issues entirely.
