Using a set safely: getting started
- Patch test first. Try each new product on a small area of skin for several days before applying it all over.
- Start retinoid slowly. Use it every other night at first, with moisturizer, and build up as your skin adjusts. If you have a deeper skin tone, watch closely for irritation, which can leave dark marks.
